I'm not seeing this at<http://www.nytimes.com> right now. I suspect
this might be the result of the Times using transparent images, scripts,
or other artifacts in an attempt to defeat copying.
Ditto working now, however, IIRC Snopes.com hides their text behind a
transparent gif layered at Z-index +100 (or similar) in the CSS. If you
view the page with "View/Use Style/None" you can find the text and copy it.
