I've got dozens of bookmark folders, and I can definitely find the
bookmark using the search tool at Manage Bookmarks, but when it returns
a hit, there's no information about folder location, just the bookmark
itself.

Sorry about that. To visit the bookmark URL after it returns a hit in
the bookmarks manager search, just double-click on it. From that point
on you can follow the steps in my first reply to find out which folder
it is in.
