You really should keep up with updates. I don't see your problem using
SeaMonkey 2.16.2.
SeaMonkey 2.17 should be out this week.
I got this problem earlier with a version, soem guy said: You are not on
the latest version.
I upgraded with the latest version - and the problem occurred also with
that version.
The problem cannot be solved by using a new version the bug, is there,
still there and if nobody try ti-o cure it, it will be ALWAYS there.
I have asked : what can i do to help someone able to solve this issue .....
