blurry text in SeaMonkey

Version 2.17 of SeaMonkey on windows 7 32 bit. Some of the text is 
blurry, kind of out of focus, then eventually will clear up. Checked 
cables, all tight.  Radeon 3850 that has never caused problems, took the 
video card out and cleaned and re-inserted.  Newest drivers. Only seems 
to happen in SeaMonkey.  Any ideas.
