I understand AM-Deadlink does not support directly the Places database.
It might be possible to use it with an exported bookmarks.html. However,
changes to bookmarks.html won't be imported back automatically into Places.
McBastos, I, too, used to think that AM-Deadlink did not work with the
places-sqlite file (the updated bookmarks plus file), but I updated
(some time ago) and found that the later versions of AM-Deadlink *do* work!!
