You can test it easily by sending to yourself this kind of mail
with a SPACE as the last character of the Subject string.
Then you have the problem in the "Sent" folder AND in the "Inbox"
folder. Here is my first tests - >

Unable to replicate.
Same here.
Me three.
Ouille Ouille ..... Did you think that i should upgrade - the
correction has been applied in the latest version ?
It's better not to file bugs for old products, since they are no longer
worked on. I thought you had the latest version already, else I
wouldn't have been looking at any of this.
Or my pc is special ?
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:15.0) Gecko/20120909
Firefox/15.0.1 SeaMonkey/2.12.1
Build identifier: 20120909051100
Windows 7 pro SP1
May i sent a mail with a subject ending with a space from my pc to
one or you ?
Upgrade to the newest SeaMonkey, create such an e-mail, then attach it
to the bug you filed. Phoenix left a comment there with instructions.
This is what i have done - following your instructions and the
instructions given by Phoenix:
I just upgraded to the latest SM version
User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:20.0) Gecko/20100101
Firefox/20.0 SeaMonkey/2.17
Build identifier: 20130331213155
and i still have the problem.
then as asked i have attached the file-save-file-eml format
This is the name contructed by SM:
Test Subject line containing 66 characters plus a space ----------
Content-Type text_plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=.eml
