Well, I found the profile and deleted it thinking SM would create a new one. Wrong! Don't do this! You can't even reinstall SM with that profile missing.
If you delete only the profile directory's ("folder") content, not the directory ("folder") itself, SM will recreate everything it needs using the empty. It's how I've been creating "new" profiles for over a decade.
