It was free for years but now they charge 10 Euros a year $1,10 a month.
The retention and speed is great with no limits and once I tried it for
that price it wasn't worth screwing around with free servers anymore.
I have been using it since the mid 1990s and never once had a problem
except in 1998 when they changed some settings on the server and I had
Netscape configured wrong.
I think I did use individual.net back some time ago, when it was free,
maybe!! That might be why I changed to teranews.com!
