Well, Daniel, I didn't find any "prefs.js" files, sooooo, after backing
up my important data to my external drive (I was overdue for it anyway)
I went to the location of the four profiles, created a file called
"archive", transferred all the profiles but the one I wanted into that
file, changed the name of the old file to that of the new and the new to
that of the old.
Ran SM and everything appears to be fine!
Thanks, Daniel, for your help. Now if I could just figure what prompted
Sea Monkey to go "safe" on me to begin with. Hopefully, I eliminated
the problem when I ran Malwarebytes Anti-malware.
Thanks again.

Dave

Dave, when you go out or go to bed, do you shut the computer down or do you just let it sleep, hibernate, whatever??

Also, were there any e-mails in the other "new" profile which you may need access to someday??
