*Lets clear up this once and for all! I am running _windows xp pro_!
My profiles won't work in the new seamonkey, so I uninstalled it and

Again here is what I did and I really need help _now_;
**I made my 6 user profiles and placed each profile folder in the spot
that I chose for them. All I get is one profile. "Switch user" get
same profile even after picking a different user. It is as if SeaMonkey
can not see the users profiles. It has made a profile of its own also
in same folder where my profiles are. Never had this problem with
earlier versions.
I am back to using older Seamonkey and Google chrome for sites that no
longer support my old version.
How did the rest of you move your older profiles?

I didn't. I just continued using the old profile. Didn't need six of
them, but just created a test profile using Tools > Switch profile...
Go to Tools > Switch Profile, activate Manage Profiles, activate Create
Profile, activate Next, enter new profile name, activate Chose Folder,
navigate in your file manager to the folder you want the profile to be
located, or create a New Folder (I prefer the default), activate Open,
activate Finish.
Start with new profile to see that it works.
Moving your profile folder is covered here.

What is the spot you chose for them, and why does your UA say
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8.1.22) Gecko/20090605
SeaMonkey/1.1.17 in the message header?
