Here's a file just created by Composer and run through the W3C Validator:

http://edmullen.net/temp/test.html

All I did was:

- run Composer
- type some text
- format some text
- run it against the Validator.

The same site, produced in exactly the same way, and 100% valid :

        http://web-consultants.org.uk/tests/composer.html
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://web-consultants.org.uk/tests/composer.html

Been doing this a long time and I've never seen it, not Dreamweaver (lovely
name, totally false assumption) nor anything else.

Never use anything but Dreamweaver. Every site/page 100% valid unless
I deliberately set out to try something non-standard. Examples :

        http://www.rhul.ac.uk/hellenic-institute/research/etheridge/

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.rhul.ac.uk/hellenic-institute/research/etheridge/

        http://marden-medical-centre.web-consultants.org/

http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://marden-medical-centre.web-consultants.org/

I'm happy you're happy.
