Deleted SM 2.22 and installed SM 2.22.1. In my previous post I mentioned
that Lightning 2.6.3 or 2.7b1 is not working with SeaMonkey 2.22.1 .
Today I tried Lightning 2.8b1 (ajusted install.rdf) and 2.6.4, *none* is
working with Seamonkey.

Well, lightning 2.9b1 is out now at the same tinyURL link above. See
if it works with 2.22 at least. I just tried it with Thunderbird
27.0b1 and it works. Maybe something is just wonky with the Linux
build when it's all said and done. Have you files a bug at Bugzilla by
chance or perhaps contacted the authors?
