I have never experienced this behavior with Junk email warnings. Make

Greetings,
New with 2.23 is behavior to pop back open the preview pane to warn
about suspicious / junk mail. This happens when I have spotted a not
correctly classified junk email by subject/from line alone, have pushed
the icon in the "junk status" column. Instead of performing the usual
behavior - move it to the junk folder, with version 2.23 suddenly the
preview pane opens up to warn that SM suspects it is junk email.
"Dddduuuaaaa!! I had to manually mark the message, and now you warn me
and open the preview pane?!?"
Most annoying new behavior with 2.23.
Is there a setting to switch off whatever got added to 2.23?
Blessings,
I'm a bit betwixed and between, here!!
For yonks, I've had SM moving Junk mail to my Trash folder and then I
check for the occasional false positive.
With Ver 2.23B, the "Junk" messages are still going to the Trash folder,
but they are not being marked as Junk, in fact they are not being marked
as anything, as the spot in the Junk Status column is empty, no dot, no
junk symbol, no nothing!!
