Hi Folks,

I notice that SeaMonkey and firefox will sync bookmarks and passwords,
but not mail filtering rules. At least, not with a standard setup.

Anybody know an easy way to transfer mail filtering rules from one
machine to another (it's getting kind of annoying to travel with one
laptop, while all my mail filtering rules sit, unexecuted, on the one I
leave behind).

Thanks,

Miles, Firefox doesn't do mail so why should it need any mail filtering rules??

Umm.... we're talking about Seamonkey - which DOES do mail filtering.

And... the question was about TRANSFERING mail rules from one instance of
SeaMonkey to another (in lieu of sync.)

there may be a better way and I too would like to know about it.

But you can transfer ALL of your seamonkey info in one direction by
locating <user>\appdata\local\mozilla ... then you can fine tune what to move.

However, it MAY be possible to use a sync service (like Dropbox) to hold ALL
of your AppData\Local\Mozilla information. Has anyone here tried that?
