Mac is based on BSD UNIX not Linux. They they may be third cousins but
there are enough differences to cause problems.
I've reported the problem on Bugzilla.
I think I will have to wait to Beta 27 comes out before trying again.
What is the bug number?
I installed the Windows version of SeaMonkey 2.26b2 in Wine on my Linux
system, and can't create an email account. When I click "Finish"
SeaMonkey freezes.
I wanted to try reproducing your problem.
My bug is in this Group:
Bug 984948 My original Bug was marked as a Dup of this one. But there
is a Listing of Dup Bugs.
As a Result of having to Completely remove and Reinstall it erased my
Mozilla Folder I kept all my Bugs and Contacts with Mozilla. I used time
machine to go back a Day and at least pickup three post about this bug.
Probably will have to go back another day to Pickup my entire folder.
It really did a number on me.
