That page seems pretty normal to me. The stop button turned off
before
I could get the cursor up to it. I disabled auto-refresh because I
find
that kind of thing maddening.

plz, remind me how we disable auto-refresh.

Thanks!

1. On the SeaMonkey menu bar, select [Edit > Preferences].

2. On the left side of the Preferences window, select [Appearance >
Content].

3. On the Content pane, check the checkbox for "Warn me when websites
try to redirect or reload the page".

Note: This might not work when the redirection or reloading is
performed via JavaScript. In that case, JavaScript can be disabled.

oh, OK, so it can't be disabled, only set to annoy the heck out of us
with a pop-up. Been there.

Best to just avoid such web sites to begin with.

That is a notification bar, not a popup. It simply appears at the top
of the page content. It does not block anything, so it is not doing any
harm. You can simply ignore it.

ohh, that would work? Just leave it there and it won't come up over and over? Hadn't thought of that. Good idea.
