Windows default is to search the currently selected location in Windows Explorer. In W7 there is a search entry box in Explorer in the upper right. It should have grey italic text saying: Search Media (H:) (assuming you're on drive H:). I just invoked it (F3) from the desktop and it opened an Explorer window and began searching EVERY location below that.
