Click Edit ->Mail & Newsgroup Accounts Settings
At the bottom of the list Click on Outgoing Server (SMTP)
Click on Add and put in the settings for Hotmail outgoing.
Now go to the Hotmail account and change the outgoing Server to the
Hotmail SMTP.
