While Password Manager in SeaMonkey 2.29 allows users to save passwords
even when a Web page tries to block it, it still would not insert saved
passwords into some login pages. Has this been fixed in SeaMonkey 2.30?
I've been using 2.30 for less than a day, but my experience has been
that it's actually better with passwords than 2.26.1 (I never installed
2.29) and earlier versions. It's now asking and inserting passwords for
websites that I'd given up on years ago. Amazing.
User string:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
SeaMonkey/2.30
Using nVidia driver 7.8.760.
Add-ons installed are:
Adblock Plus 2.6.4
Checkplaces 2.6.1 (obsolete)
Download Youtube Videos as MP4 1.7.28
Not enough experience, yet, to judge other aspects of SM 2.30. So far
I'm liking it.
Better that 2.26.1 -- with or without the "remember passwords" add-in? If it
behaves
as well as 2.26.1 with that enabled I will be a very happy camper. I guess I
will
find out when it hits ubuntuzilla.
Without. But I get the impression from what I read here that a lot will depend on
your hardware/drivers (and likely as not other things I have no clue about).
