If you really need java, uninstall all versions of java from your
machine & install just the latest.
The current version of Java is 8u25 which you can get at
http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

That said, you might be better off just uninstalling Java.  Oracle's
track record wrt security leaves much to be desired.
