Let's say you deleted all email accounts in seamonkey. Then created a
new one. Once it is created only a inbox folder is present. How does one
get drafts, sent, and trash with their appropriate icons back.

thanks

They will be created as you send, delete, etc.

BTW, when you delete accounts the folders and files of the old accounts
may not be deleted at the OS level. If you are concerned about drive
space you can delete them manually in the OS. Same for news groups.
Mozilla apps leave a lot behind when deleting via the UI.

Given that relative sloppiness, if you've deleted all your accounts, I'd seriously consider starting over with a new profile.

For debugging behavior problems with Mozilla applications, I tend to look first at profile issues -- safe mode is the fastest way to start, but sometimes, a fresh profile can be needed, particularly if safe mode doesn't provide a way of a permanent fix to a problem (and then running in regular mode again).

With Firefox, it isn't that big of a thing to move to a new profile, and for most people, the most important data to get moved to a new profile is bookmarks, and maybe saved passwords.

With Thunderbird and SeaMonkey (if you're using the mail client), there's a little more effort, because you want to move server/account configs, usually passwords, plus your address books and mail stores. That's not necessarily difficult, working at filesystem level, but there are more items to account for.

Thus, if you don't have any mail that you're trying to account for, the fastest thing may be to do a new profile, and then copy over just your bookmarks, and your address books, and then do the remaining settings manually.
