Ken, the Composer is very old and hasn't been updated in more than a
decade. You might have better luck with the current iteration. It's a
stand-alone program called BlueGriffon (which itself is now almost two
years old). Get it here: http://bluegriffon.org/

I tried BlueGriffon a while back and, for me, it didn't work anywhere
near as well as SeaMonkey Composer. I haven't tried Amaya (
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/ ), so I can't say how well it works, but if I
needed a web page editor and Composer wasn't able to get it done then
Amaya would be the first thing I'd try.

Lee

Though been computer user since Hollerith cards in an 026, I'm a raw newbie to creating my own HTML.

Tried BlueGriffon - unsatisfactory.
Am now happily using Amaya. My only problems being new to HTML.
Amaya kindly squawks if I try to save syntactically mangled page. I will allow if I insist ;)
