Today my sent folder is suddenly empty and messages I send are not
being saved. I checked the settings and they are supposed to be saved
to my saved folder (not on the server). Sending a test message to
myself after checking settings and it was not saved. I changed it to
being saved on the server and re-sent the message. It was not saved

I am using a pop server and a mac computer.
I have been using SeaMonkey for years and have not had this issue
before.
Is it truly empty, or does it just look empty?
In your profile folder on the hard disk, navigate to the relevant mail
account, under which you should see a file called "Sent." What is the
size in bytes? If it's not zero, then it's a question of getting SM to
display the contents correctly.
