I have a few e-mail contacts whose e-mail addresses, with commas, like
"lastname, firstname" in their names in their saved e-mails. When I
right click on their "lastname, firstname
<[email protected]>" (without quotation marks) to
"compose mail to" a brand new e-mail, I see two/2 To: addresses showing:
To: Lastname <>
To: Firstname <[email protected]>
Is this a minor and annoying known issue?
To my knowledge, commas are not permitted in email addresses. They are,
however, used to *separate* multiple addresses in one string. Ex:
To: [email protected],[email protected],[email protected]
But these commas were NOT in their addresses. They were in before the
address like in my "lastname, firstname
[email protected]>" example. :/
