I always copy my profiles into a folder named save <SM profiles> before updating SeaMonkey. This time, after copying my profiles, I exported my passwords from two of my profiles via the Password Exporter extension; the other two had no stored passwords. I then reset my master password and deleted the Remember Passwords extension from three of my profiles; the fourth profile did not have either of these. After installing SeaMonkey 2.35y over 2.26.1, I set master passwords in the three profiles that previously had them. I then used Password Exporter to import passwords into the two profile that had them. Passwords now seem to work okay, especially in the few Web sites were they are vital. However, I still got the crash on the first launching of each profile. This is NOT a significant problem since the crash does not repeat on subsequent launches; it is merely annoying (and possibly alarming for some users). -- David E.
