On a Dell Optiplex 755 with Windows 7 Home Premium and SeaMonkey
v.2.30,
for some strange reason I can't get the screen to layout as I am used
to: i.e., wide view.
In previous iterations of SM, the selected e-mail account's 'inbox' was
always listed first in the inbox/sent/trash listing of things. Now,
everything seems to be in reverse order; i.e., inbox is the very last
thing listed in the sequence. In addition, the 'wide view' setting
isn't exactly the same as the two other PCs I have running various
versions of SM v.2.xx under both Win 7 and XP.
Does anyone have any idea what causes this problem and what I can do to
fix it? Thanks, in advance, for all suggestions, pointers to
tutorials,
advice, etc.
Maybe the sort arrow in the Folder Pane is facing ^ instead of down.
Thanks for the suggestion. I think I understand what the 'Folder Pane'
is but exactly where is the 'sort arrow' you mention and how do I change
it?
Just click that column heading to reverse the order.
Or look in the top menu under View | Sort by... and click "Ascending"
instead of "Descending."
Gee, I thought that 'View | Sort by... and click "Ascending" instead of
"Descending."' only applied to the way threads appeared in the Threads
Pane!!
