I have an interesting issue. It seems like some e-mail clients (e.g.,
Outlook) don't know what to do with attached e-mails inside the e-mails.
I usually attach a sent e-mail into my new e-mail to send. Is this by
design or a bug in SeaMonkey v2.33.1 and/or ThunderBird?
How can I have it behave like Outlook when I can attach an e-mail in
another e-mail?
Attaching an existing E-mail message to a new message is generally done
when forwarding the existing message. Thunderbird allows the user
either to attach the existing message or to quote the existing message.
On the Thunderbird menu bar, select [Tools > Options > General]. At the
top of the General tab, there is a pull-down selection list that
indicates whether forwarded messages should be inline (i.e.g, quoted) or
attached. This can be overridden on a per-account basis.
Right, but I prefer to send the whole e-mail untouched as an attachment
instead of quoting.
