Once in a while I get this annoying error when I try to manually compact
my e-mail folders in my SeaMonkey (SM) v2.33.1 in my very old, updated
Windows XP Pro SP3 machine. The only way to fix it is to restart SM.
Does anyone else get this rare problem too?

Ant, I sometimes get that sort of message when I'm downloading mail ....
only to find out that I've managed to get two Mail and News screens and
I'm doing something on one M & N screen whilst the computer is doing
something on the other M & N screen.
Next time it happens, don't kill SM, just give it a bit of time (30 secs
say) and then re-try what you wanted to do.
You should not be compacting when downloading messages. Compacting
should be done when other processing is finished.
Then, that compact option should be unavailaible. :(
