I have v2.28 installed on a Windows 8.1 PC.
It is not used as the default program for anything.
All email-related activities default to Thunderbird.
Yet, when I try to email a PDF from within the PDF viewing application
-- and I've tried several -- it invokes SeaMonkey even if SeaMonkey is
not running.
How do I stop SM from interfering?
If this only happens with your PDF viewer, and not with other
applications, then logically the problem must be in the PDF viewer.
If other programs are also affected, then what does Windows think is
your default email program? I don't have 8.1, but there's usually a
setting under Start | Default Programs or something like that. I know
you said "All email-related activities default to Thunderbird," but
perhaps Windows "knows" something that SM and TB don't.
