SeaMonkey operates differently when both eMail newsgroups are both in
the Name pane. On a different PC I use SeaMonkey for newsgroups only

AS with just about everyone else who has responded to your problem, Old
Guy, SeaMonkey is made to have e-mail and news accounts in one profile,
however, ....
Set up one SeaMonkey profile to have just e-mail accounts, and give it a
Desktop Icon, then set-up a SeaMonkey Profile to have just your news
accounts and give it a separate Desktop Icon.
Why you want it that way?? Don't know!!
