I haven't done this before, not sure what you wanted.
I selected seamonkey-2.41.en-US.win32.installer.exe
<https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/%7Eakalla/unofficial/seamonkey/nightly/latest-comm-release-windows32/seamonkey-2.41.en-US.win32.installer.exe>,
downloaded it and ran it. I tried a few things and it seemed to work
fine. I had turned off all my add-ons, then added two back, so I did
not check SM 2.41 with all the add-ons I was using. I can do that if
that was your interest.

SeaMonkey crashes for me as soon as I try to start it. It had been
running fine until about a week ago. As best I can remember, I shut the
computer off one night and the next morning SeaMonkey crashed on start up.
I am using SM 2.39, Windows 10.
I downloaded a fresh version of SeaMonkey, I also downloaded the latest
Java to be sure.
Everything else is working fine, including Firefox.
Any suggestions?

Have you tried launching SeaMonkey in safe mode?
Seamonkey.exe -safe-mode
If it works then you may have a bad extension or plugin. If not then run
profile manager and see if it works if you create new test profile.
Seamonkey.exe -profilemanager or Seamonkey.exe -P
If it works in the new profile then you may have something corrupted on
disk in your profile.
Please try with Seamonkey 2.41 from here:
