These show in the folder listing in SM. There are a number of different
extensions and some without any extension. Here are two sections of my
folder listing in SM. I have these sorts of folders on my desktop
machine SM, but none on the laptop SM
Maybe you could use a program like MozBack and do a complete back-up. Then
delete all the files in your profile folder. Then do a restore back to the
profile folder. You should wind up with just the files back-up.
I have tried that a couple of times with various settings, but have had them
show up again. I haven't tried the direct access in the SM profile folders
