I'm running SeaMonkey 2.40 under Windows 10, and recently migrated my profile from a Windows XP machine which will soon be retired.

There are 74 files in my profile folder named Bookmarks-1.html through Bookmarks-74.html with dates going back almost three years. They are of varying sizes, and were created at varying intervals. All of them are a portion of my overall bookmarks file.

What is the purpose of these files? What causes them to be created? Is it safe to delete any or all of them? Thanks!
