A while ago, there was an addon which allowed PDFs to be viewed directly in Seamonkey. Can't remember where it came from, and can't find it in the addon

PDF.js - which is now included with Firefox - does also work with Seamonkey (although it was broken with Seamonkey-2.40 for a while). If you go to https://github.com/mozilla/pdf.js and scroll down in the README displayed at the bottom, right-click Save Link Target As on the link "Development Version". That will get you an XPI file you can install in Seamonkey Add-ons Manager.

Thanks. That was the one. The development version works again :) What was puzzling me was that the older version did not show up in the Add-ons Manager, but still seemed to be present (or at least was present enough to interfere with use of the Evince plugin, which was working with the Linux version of Firefox. I'm not sure if the addition of the Evince plugin is specific to Arch - will have to look at some other Linux builds.

I've bookmarked the page this time so I can find it in future. Thanks again...

Paul.
