Daniel,
the build process was more or less broken in the last few months. Mozilla
changed
it largely to be cloud based and because of it no new versions. This is still
being sorted out and 2.45 is the next planned release. But until then there is
no
official release available.
Adrian Kalla provides unoffcial releases which you can use:
https://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~akalla/unofficial/seamonkey/nightly/latest-com
m-release-windows32/
Bug reports against them are accepted but if an official release comes out you
need to download the full installer. It will not auto update itself to the
official one.
There are also various internal en_US test releases available which at least
under
Windows should be fine too for daily use. The latest for Windows is located
here:
http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/seamonkey/nightly/2016/08/2016-08-11-20-17-50-comm-
release/
It contains the Aero Preview fix. Clearing the history using clear private data
is
broken in both builds. Its fixed already and will be in any release later than
08/13. If you need this function you can delete history items via the sidebar.
If you use any of these internal releases back up you profile or you will not be
able to go back to 2.40 if you encounter problems. The internal database version
has changed for some parts but you can alway install a later version over the
current one. Profile data will be preserved and upgraded if needed.

Thanks, Frank-Rainer, I'm happy to wait for the real Win32 release, ...
whenever it comes out!! ;-)
