Flash 18 works just fine but recently started giving the out of date notify.
Flashes newer than 19 interfere with Zone Alarm and flash vids such as:

That vid will freeze if I move the display.
I've gone all through about:config and changed everything that appeared
to be related, to no avail.

You could also update to SeaMonkey 2.40 and update Flash.
Unless you want those security vulnerabilities.

Now that you told me where to find the offending parts I used XML notepad
and removed those lines whilst keeping all the others.
It works great and I can watch the radar again.
Will have to do the same for the company laptops running FF27.0 and
my other home computers.
