I get an alternating "Login To Server Timed Out..." or "Login To Server Failed"

Authentication: Normal
Security: SSL/TLS
I have no issues with receiving emails, only sending. I can access to send and
receive via the web portal, just not SM.

Arnie - thank you for the info. I have now updated the smtp port to 587
as shown, cannot find the 465 instructions...
Nevertheless, I now receive the following message:
Sending of the message failed.
The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server
(SMTP) smtp.aol.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again.
Something I have not done correctly?
