I will have to check my SeaMonkey, but just the username without @verizon.net
works for me in all of my versions of Thunderbird.

I do need the whole enchilada when I check my Verizon Web Mail on aol.com.

That used to work for me in Seamonkey, ie. username=arnie.goetchius

But a few years ago, it changed to requiring me to use arnie.goetch...@att.net.
That could have been when AT&T turned its email service over to Yahoo.

Well, I just tested in Thunderbird and with or without @verizon.net worked.
