Using SM 2.46 in Windows 7. Windows or SM option ?

My SM Icons are stacked one on top of another at Lower Left.

Is there an option to just line them up across the bottom bar ?

Stacked is a PITA....I liked the way XP did it before.

Are you talking about icons (as in Jonathan N. Little's screenshot), or tiles in the taskbar?

In the first case, he's probably right; I've never seen that.

In the much more likely second case, if you're talking about taskbar tiles:

1) Right-click an empty area in the taskbar (if you don't have any, close applications until you do). If "Lock the taskbar" is checked, uncheck it. If it's not checked, skip this step.

2) Right-click an empty area in the taskbar and choose "Properties."

3) In the dialog that appears, choose the "Taskbar" tab, where you'll see a pull-down button with the following options (one of them will be showing, of course):
        [Always combine, hide labels]
        [Combine when taskbar is full]
        [Never combine]
Choose the desired option. Click "Apply," then "OK."

4) Lock the taskbar using the technique described in step 1. This will prevent inadvertent changes.
