This is getting to be way off-topic for Seamonkey, but I'll note that several years ago, I had a Canon printer. When I moved to Windows 7 from XP, the printer was old enough that there wasn't a Win 7 driver for it, but I found that it worked just fine (from Windows 7) using an XP driver.
