I didn't mention it before, but I also saw that error message "Video
loading stopped...".

Later I tried creating a new profile and with that the video seemed to
work without problems.

Disabling all my addons with the default (suspect) profile made no
difference. I expect it is down to some setting, but finding which one
won't be easy.
