Hosted on postimage. Click on the link or copy & paste - whichever
works.

DoctorBill

That appears to be your Local Folders and the Account Name has been
changed to Bozo2000. It cannot and should not be deleted.

I never before had my "account name" and then my "Account
[email protected]" before.
Do you understand ?
Does YOUR mail have this same thing ?
I don't believe I can explain it any better........

What information pops up when you right click on it?
Do you have a "Local Folders"?
Can you change the folder name to Local Folders?

A menu pops up - I went to 'setting' -> gives me same as in left
picture above (link).

So...I gather that that account 'should be' labelled "Local Folders".
OK !

I went to it (settings) and WAS ALLOWED to change the account name to
"local
folders".

I left it that way.

I do not know how it got named with the same name of my mail account
sans the "@xxmail.com".

Ah so - the mysteries of having a computer.

I was wondering if I should delete ALL my mail accounts and begin
again !?

Why?
If there is mail in the Local Folders Folders, then just left click and
drag them to
where you want them.

Looks Like all he has to do, should have done initially is, jut rename the account in question. The account name is just a *label* that is displayed in the left pane. You can label an account anything like "foobar bazoom" if you wish.

DoctorBill, to get what I think you originally wanted, in Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings

1) Select your currently labeled "Bozo2000" and change the Account Name field back to "Local Folders"

2) Select account named "[email protected]" and change the Account Name field to "Bozo2000"

3) As Paul said if there is any messages in "Local Folders" that you wish to be in "Bozo2000" just drag and drop them wherever you want.

Take care,
