I have found it easy to change the search engine by changing the search plugin in the search bar. I am used to doing searches from the search bar anyway, and selecting something on the page and searching from the context menu depends on what engine is displayed in the search bar.

The icons for the applications should be updated. Even with Firefox 24esr, the icon (in MacOS) is 1024x1024 px. With Thunderbird 24, the icon is 512x512 px, and with the current release of SeaMonkey the icon is 128x128 px, which is way behind the times.
