Actually, my reply was based on using Thunderbird.  However, SeaMonkey
uses the same MailNews Core that Thunderbird uses.

I do see an icon for each newsgroup.  It resembles a file folder
upside-down (fold at the top, open at the bottom) with a note attached
with a pushpin.  I never see this icon change for new messages.

Consider:
*  Most state mandate that drivers have liability insurance.
*  Employers are mandated to have worker's compensation insurance.
*  If you live in a flood zone, flood insurance is mandatory.
*  If your home has a mortgage, fire insurance is mandatory.

Why then is mandatory health insurance so bad??
