Can you give us a little more info about how you re trying to set up
IMAP? I have 5 separate accounts set up using IMAP on SeaMonkey. First
question is are you sure the ISP supports the IMAP protocol?

The Telus ISP is only supporting IMAP.
I am trying to set up using Mail & Newsgroup Account Settings > Add
Account. The addresses used in prefs.js to set up the folders such as
Sent & Drafts were different from those in the Thunderbird settings.
Correcting them did not help (and neither did leaving them alone). In
the Mail folder in the profile, there were only .msf files and no data
files, possibly because I could not connect. I could see that the ports
were correct. Telus kept telling me to enter the passwords. They were
correct, since I used the same ones with Thunderbird.
