Using what ?
Steps please !
So we all can learn.
Even stupids like me.

I use Todo Backup:

<http://www.todo-backup.com/>

I have three licenses. In Todo you can schedule many different kinds of backups but I only use complete image backups. The C: (boot) drive and the G: (programs and data) drive are imaged daily to a removable 1 Tb USB drive. I have two of these drives: One on the system and one in the safe deposit box at the bank. I swap them out periodically.

BTW, this has saved me several times in the past when something has gone south, like having the C: drive die, or accidentally deleting a file.

Todo has a free version but I use Todo Backup home as it is more fully featured.

Steps
1. Download your desired version
2. Install
3. Run
4. Schedule your backups
