What version were you trying to get? On addons.mozilla.org (amo), I think AdBlock Plus 3.0.4 is a Webextension, which will not work with SeaMonkey 2.49.3. The last version that does work is AdBlock Plus 2.9.1, for which I do not see available at amo. Fortunately, I archive all software installers that I use other than Microsoft updates and updates to AVG Anti-Virus. If you want a copy of AdBlock Plus 2.9.1, let me know here.
