Now that you can see the toolbar, you can see that one letter of each menu item is underlined. ALT plus that letter calls that item: ALT-F calls "File," ALT-E calls "Edit," etc.
Thank you very much, Paul, Ant and each of you who took a moment to help. Also, I will keep the new profile idea in mind for other minefields I may run into for temp or permanent resolution. Some times I forget the basics.
