I think you will find that adding a Yahoo account to SeaMonkey or
Thunderbird is no longer possible.
After reading this thread, I just tried adding my Yahoo account to
Thunderbird and two things happened (1), the account creator said my
password was incorrect and (2) a window appeared with a Yahoo UK &
Ireland login. I am not in either the UK or Ireland.
However, when using the password on Yahoo's web site, it worked perfectly.
I do not know why the window with the UK/Ireland login appeared, but I
closed the window at that point.
