Thanks! Uh, but I'm not using v2.49.5 yet since it is not publicly
released as stable. Or are you saying it has been broken for a long
time? If so, then do you have the bug reports for their details about
it? Also, are there any tools and addons to fix this bug?

Depending on what you did you might see an error in the log. Fixed in
2.53 by just replacing the Bookmarks Manager with the Fx library and
adapting it.
But fear not! Fx has an even better solution for you in place soon.

history, manually delete it, reload https://slashdot.org's home page
with my custom RSS feeds, and still see this link as "visited". Where
